About UsWhen Don Peters, the owner of Peters Uncle Sams fireworks, was just 8 years old he threw a string of firecrackers over his shoulder and went to the state fair to sell them. His love of fireworks and desire to share that love with others really caught on.
After returning home from the Marine Corps at the age of 23, Don began selling fireworks from the trunk of his car. As the years went by, he began to be more serious about making this his career. He went from that car trunk up to a trailer, his garage, and eventually a large warehouse and retail center in the Ashwaubenon industrial park.
Don inspired many of his peers to start selling fireworks as well - in fact, all of the stores you see along the highways are run by the children of the people he inspired.
Today, after 49 years of selling fireworks, his dream has blossomed into a family business that continues to help everyone they can celebrate not just our great nations Independence Day, but all occasions - birthdays, graduations, holidays, or simply a fun gathering!
Class C Consumer Fireworks have come a long way in just the last 10 years. It is amazing how the industry has been able to perfect the effects not long ago only available in Class B big city shows. Best of all, this is available at any budget level. So many of our customers have a fireworks show as a summer family tradition. It is a memory created for all ages and not forgotten. We have heard from grandparents that the fireworks were one of the most beautiful things they have ever seen. Of course, the kids wide-eyed just love them too!

It is our pleasure to share our love of fireworks. What makes a fireworks show outstanding is not only the variety of fabulous effects that each piece contains but the thought and care that goes into arranging the show. There could be ten gorgeous willows in a row, and even though they are gorgeous, the show would be boring.
It is our goal with our expert customer service and store-wide description signs above each piece to help guarantee each show will be filled with exactly the effects every family or individual wants. Huge dripping willows, palms, comets, crackling circles re-opening in the sky… and the colors! Pink, purple, orange, red, green, blue… I could go on and on!! We are obsessed with having the highest quality and most spectacular fireworks available.
Our fountains (ground items that do not send anything up in the air) display a beautiful, colorful show that crackles and sparkles. Some contain colorful flares, strobes, and "blobs" of color that are very vivid. We also carry a line of "totally silent" fountains that display the illuminations with no noise or crackling at all. These fountains are wonderful for those who have small children or a family pet. There will be no noise to disturb a dog's keen sense of hearing (or bother the neighbors!)
